Whoop! Excited about seeing the family
and hanging out with folks! and Fireworks! and Four Wheelers! and my
woman!

Ha Ha...isn't it funny when I try to be like Daniel? This is Ashley and
we are headed to Abilene this afternoon for an awesome Independence
Weekend. I bought Daniel a kick ace hat for the occasion. He's going to look just like Uncle Sam. I will post a
picture of it when we get back. Nothing else too exciting going on.
Still looking for a full time job in Austin. Although...time is running
out so Daniel is looking everywhere. He's watering trees for now. It's
hot so he doesn't care for the tree watering so much. But now he's
gonna be buff and tanned like a Mexican! (Yay for me! )

Alright...that's all for now...Happy July 4th weekend! God Bless America!
Monday, June 06, 2005

Hi Friends! Again, Daniel is too lazy to update so I am doing it for
him. We are trying to leave to go to Austin for the rest of the week
but he is THE SLOWEST person ever. Ever. It has now taken an hour and a
half for him to attempt to pack up his stuff. Anyway...like I already
said, we are going to Austin for the rest of the week.We are then going
to a family reunion out in Kingsland this weekend. It should be lots of
fun with lots of swimming, boating, eating and consumption of Bud
Light.

So what has been going on in Daniel's life lately? Well...he is still
looking for full time employment so any thoughts or ideas you might
have, please send them his way (or mine for that matter:
aaustin@mail.utexas.edu). He thinks he has found a part time summer job
watering trees for his apartment complex. They are willing to pay
$7/hour for 40 hrs/week! It will definitely be a good source of funds
for the next few months. *Side Note: I don't know how you can spend 40
hours a week (plus overtime) watering trees, but the apt. complex seems
to think it is possible.* I guess that is the price you pay for
spending $16,000 on trees.

Nothing else too exciting has been going on. He jokes about us getting married all the time but I still think he's bluffing. I think I would have found the ring by now if he already had it.

Alright...that's all for now. It will probably be a while before Daniel
updates so I hope you all have wonderful weeks and are enjoying your
summer!!

update my xanga.
Let's see I know there is something important they wanted me to let you
know about...

Ummmm.... hmmmmm.... Hold I can remember..... O YEAH!

I GRADUATED LAST FRIDAY!!!

I had a Terrific weekend. I defiantly recommend that everyone should
graduate from college at least once in your life. ;) I thought it would
be kinda ho-hum and boring but it was, in fact, really awesome. My entire
family and friends have been sneaking around making this awesome scrapbook from
my college years for me. It even has a singing button and pictures of my
friends and I that I didn't even know existed.

Nathan came up from the Woodlands just to hang out with my family and I Friday
night. We went to Northgate and visited the Dixie Chick for some b33r and
Sangria then the shot bar for a few rounds. It was awesome and fun to
celebrate like that. I believe that brings my total trips to Northgate to
about 6 times in college. You should party there at least once a semester;
it can be a real blast with your friends.

I spent a good chunk of my graduation money ($220) on a new pair of glasses
that are going to look really good and be really nice to wear. They've
improved lens technology in the last 3 years a good bit.

Ashley and I spent over a week together hanging out and just having a
blast. It makes me very ready to eventually live in the same place as my
wonderful girlfriend.

Great food was had the entire weekend, On The Border, Casa Ole, Homemade
burgers and sandwiches, four layer delight, Coldstone Creamery, the list goes
on.

So what has been going on with Daniel? School mostly. He is almost done with his Engineering 405 project so that is a super exciting event. He (and his group) are building some kind of automatic parking attendant machine thingie. I know the technical language is hard to understand but try to follow me.

Let's see...what else? He's still looking for a J-O-B preferably in the Austin - San Antonio region. Any helpful ideas/information/leads would be much much appreciated.

He still loves me. At least, I'm pretty sure he does. Things are well with us. We're coming up on three and half years (WHOOP) and that is awesome!!

That's all for now. Daniel hopes you have a great day!!
